Map of Turks and Caicos

The map of Turks and Caicos occupies 193 square miles of land stretching across the Atlantic Ocean on the northern edge of the Caribbean Sea. The islands that make up this complex map of Turks and Caicos are technically a part of the Bahamas archipelago, but the territory is actually governed separately as an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. Of all the islands visible on the Turks and Caicos map (there are more than 40 in all), just eight are inhabited. The "Turks" - situated in the eastern portion of this map of Turks and Caicos - are comprised of Salt Cay and Grand Turk, the islands' seat of government. Arcing westwards across the map of Turks and Caicos are the "Caicos" - a group of six main islands and several small cays. The islands' 25,000 English-speaking residents live primarily on Providenciales and Grand Turk, and enjoy beautiful beaches, clear waters, and nearly perfect weather year-round.
